Sam secured pole position for race 1 and race 3 at Snetterton in a close fought qualifying session on the Norfolk track setting the fastest time of 1.43.878. A late challenge from Martin Cao with seven minutes remaining saw him drop down into second. However Sam responded by setting an even quicker time of 1.43.475 to regain the lead.
